Sector-based Supply-Chain Proxy (SCP)

The SCP is a score between 0-1 for a company based on the sectors that the asset is dependent on. The dependent sectors are taken from OECD sector tables. Supply Chain Analysis is an advanced and broad field. The SCP is a proxy because it applies sector-based dependencies to the company assets, rather than detailing a specific asset’s supply chain. The SCP is an aggregate extrinsic sector value provided to assist in contextualising asset risk within broader climate risk facing the sector in which the company operates or to which it is adjacent.
