How is Wind modelled?

There are many different types of wind, including synoptic (on a relatively large spatial scale), tropical cyclone (intense tropical low pressure systems), convective wind (related to thunderstorms and large showers), and tornadoes. Currently, our system includes synoptic wind and tropical cyclone winds, with convective thunderstorm-produced wind coming soon.
